Study On The Principal Role Of Farmers In New-Country Construction

The Sixteenth Plenary Session of the Fifth CPC Central Committee has made a great decision on building a new socialist countryside. It’s a major decision for the Party Central Committee to centralize total situation, play for the long term and keep up with times. But it’s still in exploration to rouse the initiative of farmers, and let them treat the new rural area construction as their own careers. In recent years, our Party and government have paid great attention to arousing the enthusiasm of the peasant masses, and have taken a series of measures so that peasants are greatly encouraged to develop the construction socialism new countryside. Peasants cast labor actively to build economy, culture and infrastructure of new countryside. Meanwhile, we could find that the motivation and ability of getting rich relate to peasantry quality; when they take part in the construction, the initiative and the lack of democratic rights go hand in hand; the enthusiasm of individual farming and the lag of co-operative farming exist side by side. In many places, new-country construction is pulling down old houses and setting up new houses, which go back on the wishes of farmers; or consume manpower and material resources to construction works, such as building parks and squares, farmers are only spectators and passive. That is to say, in new country construction, the actuality of participation farmers has influenced the stability of the rural society, political power in basic rural areas, and the aim of promote the over-all construction of rural well-off society. Therefore, it seems necessary and important than ever before to deeply research and actively discuss the measures of promoting the principal role of farmers.Based on the above, looking up a large amount of information and documents, and investing Yangqu Taiyuan, I analyze present situation, problems, and reasons of the main role of farmers in the construction of a new socialism rural area. On these bases, promoting the principal role of farmers is presented.The thesis is presented as six chapters. The first part mainly introduces the background and meaning of the study, then explains the research in home. The second part defines the conception of new rural area construction and the main role of farmers. Then it explains the relation and the basic theory of the leading role of government and the principal role of farmers. Part three explains farmers are the principal role of the new rural area construction from the starting point, foothold, origin of force and fundamental point of the new rural area construction. Part four takes some area for example, analyzes present situation and problems of the area. In part five, based on the former, a though analyzing is made to the reasons of giving play to the main role problems. Part six puts forward some advice to bring the main role of farmers into full play.
