Investigation On Current Situation Of The Young Pioneers Work In Primary School

The Young Pioneers is an important channel to carry out ideological and political education to the children in China. It is so profound that the Young Pioneers influences millions of children’s development. Nowadays, under the social background of multiple-culture, the children’s ideology is affected by various factors. As a distinctive children’s organization in China, the Young Pioneers becomes more and more important to children’s ideological education and also facing a number of challenges. The article mainly uses questionnaire method, tries to objectively reflect the work of the Young Pioneers in primary school from the perspective of the Young Pioneers. The research consists of three aspects:organization construction and education activity of the Young Pioneers, and Young Pioneers’ organizational identification. To be more specific, the investigation involves basic-level organizations of the Young Pioneers, the management of Young Pioneers cadres, the team construction of the Young Pioneers’ tutor, the base construction for the Young Pioneers activities, etiquette education and the activities of the Young Pioneers, and so on. The investigation results show that there are some problems in the organization construction and the education of the Young Pioneers. For example, the functions division is unclear, the institution implementation is a bit inadequate, the propaganda is less effective, the initiation work is insufficient, the young pioneers activities is inactive, the etiquette education is gradually weakened, the young pioneers subjective status is a little weak, and so on. In the end, in order to offer some references for pushing forward the work of the Young Pioneers in primary school, the article makes following suggestions for the practical problems:clarifying the work task and highlighting the key work, standardizing the management system and strengthening Young Pioneers cadres’ training, optimizing the Young Pioneers tutors’ group and improving their qualities, returning to the children’s life and diversifying the propaganda channels, promoting the mobilization activities and emphasizing the etiquette education, keeping student-centered and deepening the practical activities.
