There are many problemsin the process of institutional endowment services development. As social service,pension service is involved with everyone’s real interests, relates to the entire socialstability and development pattern.In this context, research of this issue has a strongpractical significance.Shanghai institutional endowment service system, on the otherhand, The system has experienced several decades of development, has accumulatedcertain experience and rich resources of service for the old, which provides a cleardirection and a good material base for institutional endowment service promotion.Onthis basis, it is practical to do research of institutional endowment service systemdevelopment in Shanghai.This article set four chapters to argue about upgrading, developing institutionalendowment service system in Shanghai.First chapter introduces related theories,layscertain theoretical basis for the research of this paper, and reviews the existingliterature at home and abroad,then puts forward different argument in this paper.Thesecond chapter introduces current situation of aging,aging characteristics in Shanghai, discusses overall demand for institutional endowment services, key servicedemand.The third chapter expounds the existing institutional endowment servicesupply condition, and historical reasons why contradiction existed between supply anddemand.The fourth chapter proposes development advice according to the problemsexisting in institutional endowment service system to meet the needs of theinstitutions endowment service in Shanghai,.This paper is different from previous researches because of not treating theinstitutional endowment service as an isolated object, but arguing it in the frameworkof the whole endowment service system, categorizing institutional endowment serviceposition, emphasizing the cooperation and coordinated development of other pensionservice main body, especially community home endowment service.With richresources of education, medical treatment and social organizations as the backing,This paper tries to build reasonable and sustainable development of endowmentservice subsystem based on the whole endowment service network.
