Neoliberal Ideological Influence In China And Countermeasures Analysis

Since the nineteen seventies, along with Keynes’s policy failures, the new liberalism hasrealized the revival, developed and gradually become the mainstream ideology in westerndeveloped capitalist society with an irresistible force. After the new liberalism developing incapitalist society, this concept began to spread in the world. After the reform and opening up,the new liberalism began to be introduced into China. This new liberalism, lack of spirit ofskepticism and criticism consciousness by scholars regarded as a guidance of China’s reform and openingup, was accepted uncritically, and guided the construction of ideology of our country, which brought manyadverse effects for the construction of the security of ideology in our country. Therefore, in order toguard our country ideology security, we must deepen the understanding of the new liberalism,open the new liberalism camouflage veil, and avoid getting into the new colonialism trap theWestern developed countries set up.Now our country is in the crucial period of the domestic reform and development, weshould attach great importance to the ideological construction, maintain our country ideologysecurity; strengthen the innovation of traditional culture and the Marx doctrine to ensure theChinese characteristic socialism road; reinforce our ideological culture and mainstreamideology construction, oppose the Western cultural imperialism and Ideological Diplomacy,during the economic globalization and the negative impact of Western new liberalismideology for our country; in addition, we will carry out the international cultural exchange indiverse culture, and seek common ground in the peaceful competition, and achieve symbioticcultures of the world.This paper is divided into three parts, the first part introduces the rise of the newliberalism, historical background, and the theoretical origin of the new liberalism, thedefinitions of the new liberalism scholars carried on the limits to the new liberalism fromdifferent perspectives, then illustrates the development history of the new liberalism, andsummarized the theories and the main ideas of the new liberalism.In the second part, analyzes the new liberalism ideology, then the main affect ofneo-liberalism on China’s ideology, and attribution of the new liberalism in China, based onthe theory the part one mentioned.The third part proposes specific measures to safeguard our country ideology security,mainly from the four aspects: attach the great importance to the construction of socialistideology, strengthen the integration of the traditional culture and the Marx doctrine innovationresearch, oppose Western cultural imperialism and Ideological Diplomacy, and shape thespirit of innovation and times of socialist ideology.
