A Research On Developments And Applications Of Incoterms2010

Since2001, China has joined to the WTO, multiple international tradegrown rapidly in the world. Our country is facing a critical period ofeconomic transformation and a flourishing domestic commerce development.Incoterms2000can’t match the new principles of international trade. SoThe International Chamber of Commerce launched Incoterms2010inSeptember2010, the incoterms2010came into effect on January1,2011. Inorder for trade workers in better understanding of the practical work and theproper use of the new version of Incoterms, this article outlines the historyof Incoterms, the new development and application of the general rule for2010, and analyze trade terms for China’s export enterprises in the processof selecting some of the issues, as well as comparison of the status of the sale of goods, hoping to provide a clearer reference to trade workers.This paper focuses on the analysis new rules and new applications ofinternational trade terms, and what we should pay more attention inIncoterms2010. Exploration of Incoterms2010and international trade anddomestic trade of applies, and through the discussions about new rules, wecan advise China’s export enterprises how to select suitable trade term, andprevent potential risks and control costs during trade transaction process.
