The Political Analysis On The Ethnic Policy Of The Communist Party Of China

China is a multi-national country created by the people of all ethnic groupswork together. As the change and development of times, the Chinese CommunistParty is facing unprecedented challenges in the new period of socialist construction,which caused by the increasing complexity of ethnic relations and ethnic issues. Inthis paper, taken Xinjiang as an example, a systematic analyze is made to the nationalpolicy of the Communist Party of China in the1950s, and the political performanceanalysis as well. It provides a scientific basis of better handling with the ethnic issuesin Xinjiang for the Chinese Communist Party at the new period and science policyrecommendations for the realization of stable and fast development in Xinjiang onthis basis.This paper is consists of four parts:The first part elaborates the purpose and meaning of selected topics in thispaper, current domestic research and innovations and difficulties of this paper as wellas the research methods.The second part expounded ethnic policies of the Communist Party of Chinafrom1949to1957was a policy system which was formed by the correlativedependence, interaction effects and interaction of the political policy, the politicalpolicy and cultural policy. In Xinjiang ethnic region, its policy function was tosolve problems that ethnical groups encountered in Xinjiang and enhance political stability a well as the rapid development of economy and culture in Xinjiang.The third part carried out comparative analysis for the differences in the stateabout the development of indexes like economy, culture, population and education onXinjiang, the whole China and five provinces in the Northwest from1949to1957inorder to assess the actual performance of the implementation of the Party’s ethnicpolicies in Xinjiang.The fourth section mainly discusses the reasons why the ethnic policies of theParty was made and evaluated the performance of such ethnic policies, whichprovided introspection and reference for the Communist Party of China to settlenational problems and formulate ethnic policies in the new period.
