In Education ManHua,John Locke said,"Nothing can be like models that can scorepeople’s hearts gently and profoundly."The tremendous influence of model make themodel education,a kind of education practice from model,become the main methods andways of many countries whose civic education,moral education,and the ideological andpolitical education.As the kind of practical activities accompanying the humansociety,the status and function of Model Education is indispensable in the developmentof the human civilization.In addition,it played an effective role in improving individualmoral standards and creating a harmonious and good social atmosphere.In China,thedevelopment of model education,influenced by our country’s5000-year cultural andhistorical heritage,possesses a profound traditional culture foundation and theoreticalorigin.In the history of China,whether it’s saint sages,or the people with lofty ideals,orhero models,has played an important role in a certain period.However,with thedeepening of reform and opening up and the market economy unceasingdevelopment,people’s thinking way and value concept shows the tendency ofdiversification and a sharp decline in the acceptance of the role models.Especially in theeyes of young people,the model has been replaced by the idols,and stars longbefore.And the events always happen like "Yao Jiaxin","Li Gang" and overseas studentstabbed his mother at Shanghai Airport,as well as the generation after90s assaultedelderly recently reported on line,which reflects the contradiction between high input andlow output of our model education.Our model education has been marginalized and intothe frozen period.At present,our country is in a critical period of taking the policy of reform andopening up as well as social transformation,we need a spirit to guide and inspire us tomeet all kinds of the unknown opportunities and challenges in the developingprocess.The model education, however, is exactly the guatantee of the eternalspirit.What is the model education?How to carry out it?How to combine the modeleducation with socio-economic conditions and the national reality?These are all whatwe need to consider and solve urgently.The reasearches on these issues willundoubtedly bring the practical influence and significant theory references on thefoundation of our national socialist core value system and the development of our moral qualities,like patriotism and ethos.The article analysed the questions from four aspects.The first chapter analysed the definition and characters as well as the type systemof the model itself.What’s more,it deeply dissected the model education also from thethree aspects metioned just now.Besides,with expounding the theory foundation of themodel education from multiple angles,it enriched the points of the passage.The second chapter sorted out the formation and development history of the modeleducation in our country.The third chapter set out from the model education’s development situation indifferent historical background,analysed and concluded the lessons and experience ofthe model education in different periods in order to dissected something aimed at thereality problems exist in the model education and at last came to the reason.The fourth chapter,in conclusion,scientifically and targetedly discoursed upon thetheory and practice on how to solve the problems and creat the new path of modeleducation.
