The Research Of Political Participation Consciousness Of New Generation Of Peasant-workers

The research of the new generation of peasant-workers has been rising ever sincethe21thcentury. Especially in recent years, the new generation of peasant-workers hasbecome the mainstay of migrant workers. Thus, it has become much more important toresearch the group.The competitive power of the new generation of peasant-workers is limited in citiesbecause of their weakness in education degree and social status. They lack of the abilityto protect their own benefits. One of the core benefits is the realization of the right ofpolitical participation. The present situation of the realization of the right of politicalparticipation for that group is not good. One thing which has deeply influenced thepolitical participation is the political participation consciousness of the group. Thoughsocial being determines consciousness, the consciousness also influences the social being.The political participation consciousness has a direct influence on political participation.Thus, it has become very important to research the political participation consciousness.To research the current situation, factors which influence the political participationconsciousness of new peasant-workers and self-reflection on the situation will be the keypoint and purpose of this article. We can solve the problems in political participation onlyif new generation of peasant-workers’ political participation consciousness has beenresearched thoroughly.After a field survey, this article has analyzed their political participationconsciousness in three aspects, which include knowledge, emotion and evaluation.Besides, this article has analyzed three factors which have great influence on politicalparticipation consciousness of the new generation of peasant-workers. These factors areabout political, company system and personal reasons. Finally, we have discussed someself-reflections which mean to improve the political participation consciousness of new generation of peasant-workers and contribute to the development of socialist democraticpolitics.
