Participation And Development: Studies On The Citizenization Of The New Generation Of Peasant Workers

Nowadays,the world enters the coexisting time of opportunities, challenges and risks. Globalization, informatization, democratization and other modern factors profoundly affect people's life and production activity. China has also entered the transition period changing rapidly from the traditional agricultural society to the modern industrial society. In the new period, in the new situation,government to meet the development requirements of modern society,it needs innovate the management model,places the objects in the logical framework of participatory governance,puts the needs of the objects into the process of system design and supply,and eventually achieve good governance.Today in China contradictions between the living condition of migrant workers,especially the New Generation of Peasant Workers,and the economic and social development, become increasingly prominent, and which has become an urgent social problem. The citizenization of migrant workers has already won the approval of many people, but in practice it came across systematic obstacles represented by the household registration system. The government must change the concept of management, promote the citizenization of the new generation of migrant workers from a new perspective of participatory governance:to deepen the reform of household registration system, making the new generation of migrant workers liberate from the household register shackles; must provide public services more equal; to accelerate the city and countryside overall plan, especially to speed up the development of small and medium cities and small towns; to improve the overall quality of the new generation of migrant workers, and cultivate their modern civism.
