Study On Local Government Handling Of Group Events

The present stage of our country is in the period of social transition, the rapidgrowth of national economy.The interests contradictions among the people, more andmore conflicts, leading to the mass incidents occur frequently, a serious impact on socialharmony and stability, development and prosperity.In this paper, through the analysis ofGuangzhou Panyu lotus incident, after as well as the government in the disposal of theimproper.The local government in dealing with group events analysis.In order to putforward reasonable suggestions, in order for the grass-roots government in dealing withgroup events to provide theoretical guidance.At present there are serious problems inthe disposal of group events in China’s grass-roots government, lack of join forces todeal with group events, events leading to expand, endangering the social security andthe interests of the masses, disrupting the public order.In this paper, taking Guangzhoucity Panyu District Lotus Hill as an example, further analysis of the local government indealing with the group events on the problem:Lack of understanding of events hiddensigns; process lack of government and the public dialogue, the on-site interaction; lackof legal basis, and fast processing sensitive period and for this problem put forwardcorresponding countermeasures.The innovation of this article is combined with thespecific example of Panyu District Lotus Hill group events, exploring the effectivecountermeasures of grassroots government in dealing with group events.
