Research On The Social Security Of Migrant Population In Wuxi City

Since the reform and opening up, with China’s economic and social development of the city community, especially foreign population increased dramatically in developed coastal city. Bring the double influence on the city community development:on the one hand, foreign population made great contributions to the development and prosperity of city community. But on the other hand, a large number of foreign population into the social management city especially social security has brought great pressure. Under this background, this paper takes Wuxi City Jiang Creek Street as an example, analyze the reasons for the Wuxi city community existed in the floating population social security problems and their causes. Through the first longitudinal combs the floating population in the social security system in Wuxi City, District, Jiang Xi Street, departments at all levels over the years, more clearly shown on some problems of the social security of migrant population in the aspects of government policy, for example, the current social security coverage narrow, social security system and fragmentation, the social security legislation is not perfect and so on, from the government and institutional factors, factors of floating population in the enterprise, foreign population factors, and foreign population on social insurance cognitive degree find social security of migrant population problem. Secondly, this paper will also aim at the main problems at present are analyzed, draw on the advanced experience in this respect at home and abroad, to find out the suitable way to solve the problem of social security of migrant population in Wuxi. Finally, the sound and perfect social security system of migrant population in Wuxi, improving all kinds of social security coverage of the project, the rational design of the floating population in Wuxi social security project and the payment rate, improve the social security system of migrant population on the cognitive degree etc. put forward effective countermeasures.The purpose of this paper is to try to Jiang Xi Street, floating population social security management system to conduct a more comprehensive study, and the main problems of the current management of the analysis, see some defects of the system and the management, so that the countermeasures to perfect the related system and management, so as to solve the problem of social security of migrant population the city of Wuxi.
