The Study Management Of Floating Population In Nansha New District

Floating population is generally short for the population whose living place is not domicile. Floating population is the specific product under China’s household registration system.In today’s age, how to do the floating population service and management has become a major issue in this population movement era. Floating population is a huge economic vitality in promoting the economic and social development of the city. However, it also raises many new problems.Nansha New District, as the sixth state-level new district since Lanzhou New District in China, will attract a large number of people from other places to come to Nansha New District during its overall development. Therefore, the problems caused by the floating population will inevitably become the important factor for Nansha New District’s economic and social development. How to make different groups of people to make contribution in building Nansha New District, take into account of different parties’interests, share the achievement of development in harmoniously, are urgent problems which Nansha New District needs to solve during its development. Base on the above situation, this paper focuses in the study of Nansha New District floating population problem. Firstly, the paper analyzes the background and significance of floating population management, and summarizes the current research and study on the floating population situation. Secondly, Nansha New District’s current and future situation of floating population is in-depth analyzed. The paper analyzes floating population’s impact of the economic society of Nansha New District, and finds out some shortcomings of Nansha New District’s current floating population policy and the floating population problems which Nansha New District has to face. Thirdly, on the basis of the above analysis, the paper provides some advice on how to improve the related floating population policy in Nansha New District.
