Legal Protection For The Rights Of Senior Citizens In Rural Areas

The aging of the population tide has swept the world. Apart from Africa and parts of the Middle East, most countries and regions in the world are faced with the aging of the population, bringing about the complex social situation and social risk, and a huge economic burden and political pressure. To cope with the aging of the population has become the topic of the times that most countries and regions in the world face together. Since the end of the twentieth century, China has entered the aging society. With the acceleration of China’s population aging process, the elderly, the quantity of disabled elderly man, and the empty-nested people posed a severe challenge to the traditional pension system, the current social security system and the legal systemAs for the aging population in China, the aging problem of the rural population can not be avoided. The rural elderly people are at a disadvantage, but they are often ignored by society. To long-term policy tilt is caused by the urban and rural dual structure, with two modes of protection of the rights and interests of the elderly. In reality, both the mental or physical situation of the rural elderly people are worrying, and our harmonious society construction is not commensurate with the rights of rural elderly. The rural households and government organizations should give full attention to them while it is needed to establish law and security to protect the rural elderlyand make our society more harmonious. This paper emerged from the legal protection of the rural elderly in China, analyzing the causes, learning from foreign senior citizen rights and interests protection of good practice and putting forward suggestions to perfect the protection of the rights and interests of the elderly in rural areas in China so as to enhance the system and improve the legal system.This paper is divided into four parts. The first part starts with the aging situation in China by briefly introducing the writing background of this paper, analyzing the rural elderly in China on the basis of legal protection of their rights and interests In the second part, the status quo of legal protection of the rights and interests of the rural elderly in China was fully displayed. The cause is analyzed while the crux of the problem is found out. The third part analyzes the security system of the rights and interests of the elderly in Germany, Britain, Japan and other countries, taking its essence and providing the reference for the construction of the rural elderly in Chinese Legal Protection system. In the fourth part, we find out problems by using foreign good practice to explore and give advice on the establishment of a sound protection of the rights and interests of the elderly in rural China. With some suggestions put forward, we try to provide good suggestions for perfecting the construction of legal system of rural elderly human rights protection.
