At present, the world population continues to increase, the traffic problem is increasingly prominent, traffic geographical Information System (Geographic Information System for Transportation) referred to as "GIS-T, is the collection, storage, management, comprehensive analysis and processing spatial Information and traffic Information of computer hardware and software System. Traffic route information query system is traffic geographic information system an important constituent, can provide a lot of passengers who travel need to select traffic routes of accurate information.Optimal path algorithm in the application of traffic geographic information system is very wide, usually have A*algorithm, the algorithm we use Dijkstra algorithm, Floyd algorithm, etc. Optimal path in this thesis through the Dijkstra algorithm in the application of the system, and realize the traffic geographical information system of the three main functions, including basic electronic map related operating functions, such as maps, roaming, narrow, amplification, layer control, geographic information query functions; Has realized the map-attribute two-way query and traffic information query functions; In statistical analysis and query, mainly realizes the site coverage calculation, buffer analysis, the line coverage rate meter and calculate coefficient of repeated calculation. This design by MapInfo as a design platform, the MapBasic development tools to complete for traffic geographic information system design. Help the traffic geographical information system in the further development of domestic information, also provide reference for other geographic information system design.
