Plumule nrlunbinis is a kind of traditional Chinese medicine which has a variety ofmedicinal and health functions, and it cool natural and bitter taste. It has a clear fire, pathogenicfire, sterilization, anti-inflammatory and other effects. Plumule nrlunbinis is the embryo of theseed of lotus, it yields rich, mainly produced in Jiangxi, Fujian, Jiangsu and other places. Plumulenrlunbinis is bitter taste, led to its utilization is not high, resulting in a serious waste of resources.Licorice is a drug commonly used in traditional Chinese medicine prescription. It has the effectsof clearing heat, detoxification, antitussive expectorant, reconciling the various roles and so on, itcan be used to treat sore throats. Momordica grosvenori is sweet and cold, with functions ofstopping cough, moistening lung, conduciving throat, clearing away heat, cooling blood,nourishing stomach and so on. It can be used for the treatment of pharyngitis, sore throat, aphonia,tonsillitis, intestinal dry constipation. Menthol and peppermint oil are added in many cavitiesadministered drugs, they play the role of bactericidal, anti-inflammatory, flavoring, they canincrease the therapeutic effect. This paper introduced of the chemical composition andpharmacological of plumule nrlunbinis, licorice, momordica grosvenori, it also introduced thepharmacological of menthol and peppermint oil, and summarized the understand of throat diseaseat home and abroad, collected commonly used excipients of buccal tablets, as well as theidentification difference and requirements of the tradition Chinese medicine and westernmedicine.In this study, based on the tea formula of plumule nrlunbinis and licorice which is folkpopular in Chaozhou and Shantou, used momordica grosvenori extractum, peppermint oil andmenthol for the main accessories made of plumule nrlunbinis buccal tablets, it was used for thetreatmenf of pharyngitis, sore throat and so on. The modern theory of combinatotial chemistrycertainly the advanced of mixture brewed craft of traditional Chinese medicine, and as thetheorietical basis for extracting plumule nrlunbinis and licorice extractum in this study.The study optimized extraction conditions of plumule nrlunbinis extractum, licoriceextractum, momordica grosvenori extractum. The optimum conditions of the plumule nrlunbinisextractum was10times the amount of distilled water, extracted three times in the return flowstate,1hour for each time. Licorice extractum optimum extraction conditions:12times theamount of distilled water, extracted three times in the return flow state,1.5hours for eachtime.The optimum extraction conditions of momordica grosvenori extractum was10times theamount of distilled water, extracted two times in80℃water bath condition,1hour for each time.The extraction conditions of the mixture extractum of plumule nrlunbinis and licorice weredetermined on this basis:12times the amount of distilled water, extracted three times in the return flow state,1.5hours for each time. The plumule nrlunbinis and licorice extract and themomordica grosvenori extract was concentrated, it was used to prepare plumule nrlunbinis buccaltablets.Studied the factors associated with the forming process of the plumule nrlunbinis buccaltablets. In its forming process, investigated the amount of different kind of contents andproportion of auxiary materials, as well as the menthol and the peppermint oil, and ultimatelydetermined the forming process condition of plumule nrlunbinis buccal tablets as follows: mixedthick extractum: corn starch: sorbitol mass ratio is1:1:3, the optimum amount of dextrin,magnesium stearate, menthol, peppermint oil are accounted the material total weight of3%,2%,1.5%,0.1%, respectively.Measured the indicators of the plumule nrlunbinis buccal tablets we developed, it includedbuccal tablet total ash, moisture, arsenic, heavy metals, microorganisms, differences of the tabletweight, tablet hardness, containing of the time detector, the results proved the quality of plumulenrlunbinis buccal tablet which we prepared was in line with the relevant technial requirements.In this research used thick extractum to prepare buccal tablets, rather than dry extractum,which is shortened the concentrated extract time, while also reducing the investment inequipment of dry extractum granulator.
