In recent years the manufacturing enterprises to the popularization and application of information technology, informatization has become the trend of enterprise development. Iron and steel industry production process is very complex, both discrete and continuous dual characteristics, production lines, product variety, small batch production process is complex, the production plan management job difficult demands. In addition, the production plan of long-term dependence on the market, on the site of production control system and information management system into the system, the actual job execution state information cannot be timely feedback to the system the correct decision-making. In order to enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises, improve enterprise production management level, to build the steel enterprises not only with the existing information system can be fully integrated, and can meet the production practice of the iron and steel industry production plan management system is the objective of the present study.The main research methods and contents:First, combined with the domestic iron and steel enterprise management informationization application present situation, through the analysis of the iron and steel enterprise production process management and modern advanced management concept, the integration principle of MES scheduling, scheduling and Gantt chart theory and related technology, based on the MES of iron and steel enterprise production planning model.Second, in the iron and steel production planning based on the needs analysis, based on the MES steel production planning management function design, plan management, scheduling and management of business process are analyzed, according to the production plan management theory, system development and application of related technology, puts forward the production planning management system based on MES framework structure and Realization of the system functions. Integrated planning to achieve material tracking dynamic control and contract tracking, through PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Action) circulation management thought.Third, based on MES steel production planning management critical business function demand analysis, using J2EE multi-layer architecture design and implementation of iron and steel industry characteristics of the production planning management system, the research results are applied in a domestic iron and steel enterprises in iron and steel production plan management, the work efficiency speed significantly, and achieved good results.With advanced production management concept as the theoretical foundation, this paper studies the iron and Steel Group production plan management system is in line with the actual needs of the enterprise production planning information system, set up the production site of the control system and information system association. System application in iron and steel enterprise, significantly improve the production plan management level, make group and the production factory to integrated operation, management, reducing the production cost, but also for the iron and steel enterprise management more scientific, more effective decision support.
