Oil system plays a very important role in the normal operation of equipments and machines. The oil detection system through the analysis of each parameter, it can be used to monitor the operation status of the equipment, analyse the faults of the equipment, guide the period of the oil replacement, monitor the temperature of the oil production field and the temperature of marine engine oil, etc. Therefore, multi-parameter detection system for oil has high practical values.This paper described the indicators that affect the oil quality such as average temperature, viscosity, dielectric constant, density and common detecting methods, the direction of the article was determined by this, and introduced general research work to judge the status of the oil by multi-parameters collection and analysis.The purpose of this research is to design a multi-parameters detection system based on the sensor FPS2800B12C4, the system could accurately measure dielectric constant, viscosity, average temperature and density at the same time. The paper accomplished the node module circuit and program design based on single-chip control, included:MCP2515interface communication programs based on J1939, PC communication programs based on USB and RS485,4-20mA current output program and output expansion based on AD421, etc.The PC interface software of oil detection system was designed with C++Builder. Through USB and RS485, it realized the communication between PC and node modules.It also enabled the process of data query, processing and display. By measuring and analyzing standard liquid of different viscosities, the whole test of oil detection system was finished.
