Semi-flexible pavement mixture is used as a kind of new material ofrigid-flexible coexistence; it is compounded of a special cement mortar poured intothe gap in the matrix Asphalt Mixture composites. Semi-flexible pavement is moreflexible than concrete and rigid than asphalt concrete, it not only has the advantagesof asphalt pavement and cement concrete pavement but also shields theirdisadvantages; therefore, the study of semi-flexible pavement mixture is of practicalsignificance and development prospects.The thesis based on the research of domestic and foreign, semi-flexible pavementmixture design theory and methodology have been discussed. According to the designmethod of matrix asphalt mixture, the Java language program based on the volumetricmethod has been written, and the matrix asphalt mixture gradation and the optimumasphalt content have been determined. At the same time, by using the orthogonaldesign methodology, we have come to a conclusion about the best mix proportion ofcement mortar and through the indoor experiment, such as Marshall test, rutting test,immersion Marshall test, Pendulum type friction coefficient test, we have beenstudying pavement performance of semi flexible pavement after being used mixtureof semi-flexible.Semi-flexible pavement with a mixture of Marshall stability, residual stability,swing value gradually increased with the increment of the gap increases, and theprocess of dynamic stability porosity increased gradually of between20%and24%,and appears peak in24%with gradually decreased, so the best porosity is in the rangeof24%and26%.And comparison shows that compared with ordinary AC-16asphaltconcrete, proved the semi-flexible pavement material has good road performance.The optimum content of fiber is0.2%.The Marshall stability of single mixingmethod increases6.7%more than no mixing, dynamic stability increases12%,residual stability increased by6.4%.While we use dual-mixed methodology, as for thefiber, the indicators of mixture of semi-flexible pavement of relatively change moreslightly than single-mixed one, which indicates that the improvement of fiber mainlyreflected in the matrix asphalt mixture. It also shows that with the incorporation offiber, semi-flexible pavement mixture overall road performance have extentimprovement.I hope this research can promote the use of mixture of the fiber-dopedsemi-flexible pavement of our country with the popularization and application.
