| Warehousing system refers to the combination of storage equipment and operation strategy used in the storage management. Storage equipment includes a wide range of content. From the traditional fixed rack to the widely used equipments like rotary warehouse, serried shelf, intelligent medicine cabinet and so on. The development of storage equipment, as well as the scientific and informatization transformation of operation strategy makes the intelligent level of warehousing system higher and higher. As a representative storage equipment in warehousing system, this paper takes serried shelf as an example to describe the design and development process of warehouse management system. In the first place, this paper carries on the concept and the overall framework of the intelligent warehouse management system based on serried shelf, proposes the system design that takes the information management and control system as the core with the portable wireless control system. Then, this paper realizes the information management and control system, which is based on SQL Server database, designed by the object-oriented multilayer structure and design patterns. This paper also carries on thorough analysis to the communication mode and communication protocol of the whole system, and implements the communication design for the host computer. Finally, this paper discusses the design ideas and implementation process of the portable wireless control system, talks over some major problems and solutions met in this process..The system this paper designs and implements has successfully applied in a number of projects. It has beautiful interface and easy operation, which well meets users’ requirements for utility and intelligent. At the same time, the software uses a variety of design ideas and design patterns, which make it highly expansible and maintainable. The communication module and database module have successfully applied in the rotary warehouse, intelligent medicine cabinet and other warehouse management systems, greatly improve the development efficiency of similar systems. |
