| The culture of Shanxi has a long history, which generate a lot of outstanding talents in the film industry. Writers and artists of Shanxi are represented by Zhao Shuli, Ma Feng and Zhang Ping. The older generation of writers created a large number of outstanding film scripts, such as Ma Feng, Sun Qian and Xi Rong. Especially Sun Qian, who is one of the most important pioneers in the field of film literatures in the new China. He created more than20film scripts including 《The young men of our village》《Numerous mountains and rivers》 and so on. In addition, the soundtrack master Zhao Ziyue, famous performance artist Chen Qiang, excellent film directors Jia Zhangke and Ning Hao, they are all from Shanxi provice. The film studio of Shanxi is with high research value and it is one of the most important carriers of Shanxi film and television industry. Although during the past50years, especially the past ten years, there appears some excellent small provincial film studios from the process of the rapid development of the film industry in Shanxi. From2003to2004,the number of feature movies made by film studio of Shanxi is ranked No.3in china. Except that rapid advances on numbers of films, the quality of the films also has its own style. Take 《Warm spring》 as one of the "True love Trilogy" representative, invested by2.5million and finally get a high box office,which is more than20million. This movie was issued to Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, North Korea and Japan. In Hong Kong, the box office of the film was more than600,000Hong Kong dollars. A Japanese motion picture distribution corporation bid the distribution rights by$50,000, from then on, films made in Shanxi got into the international market. This event filled the gaps in history of circulation and projection by film studio of Shanxi. For years, film studio of Shanxi is struggling to become a model in the pony provincial film studios. This paper will research from two aspects, one is the limitation and guidance of movie policies, the other one is the self-reforming of the system. Through the analysis and explanation of market position, operation concept and its unique merit of film studio of Shanxi, the success and failure experiences could be quoted and used for reference among all kinds of middle and small-sized nationalized film factories. Moreover, on the basis of the deeply understanding of the Chinese movie industry chain, this paper will help exploring ways of re-energize by some financial methods.The article is divided into four chapters.The foreword part is introduced overall situation of the article briefly,including domestic and foreign research situations and results research significance and goal.The first part,I was reorganizing and divising the history of Film studio of Shanxi carefully, divided the50th years into four stages to narrate.The second part is the Key chapter,which is analysised and summared the change of film studio of Shanxi’s strategic orientation and management strategy.Ten years of development by leaps and bounds,the writer owe the successful experience into brand management strategy and unique marketing pattern.The third part is searched the development direction and prospects on the basis of the second part. Put the film studio of Shanxi into the environment of enterprise transformation and the film market reforms,starting from two points,which is the development of the main theme of the film,other is the secondary market develops,looking for the next stage of development directions and methods with objective analysis.In the last part,through contrasting with Film studio of Ningxia,I want to find some feasibility of the recommendations and observations to carry forward further marketability development of the film studio of Shanxi.The conclusion part is my sentiment and reflection of film and television industry in Shanxi during a year-long investigation interview and a happy expectation of the film studio of Shanxi. |
