This paper chooses the era of visual culture as its research background, and thetechnological transformation of film from “Two-Dimension to Three-Dimension” asits breakthrough point, it analyses three-dimension film`s significant progress andunavoidable limitations, combined with the similarities and differences betweentheir visual sensory effects, and viewer`s aesthetic situation. Under the function ofvisual technology, how do these differences and similarities of sensory effect andviewer`s aesthetic situation happen? On the basis of two-dimension technology,andin view of the gradually prosperity and development of the three-dimensiontechnology and film, how does audiences`aesthetic activities realize suchleapfrogging? In this process, is there any obstacles that hamper the film aestheticactivities? With these questions, this paper will make detailed statement. Using themethod of document survey, comparative analysis, logic analysis to thoroughly studythe three-dimension technology and carry out aesthetic analysis. Under thecondition of three-dimension technology, people`s aesthetic pattern has changed,audiences`visual experience, emotional experience and aesthetic needs are differentfrom the two-dimension film aesthetic experience.This paper, under the background of visual culture era, represents the thriving ofthree-dimension film and visual revolution and visual sensory effects it brings, fromthe angle of three-dimension film, the paper demonstrates the aestheticcharacteristics and aesthetic significance of three-dimension film; from the angle ofviewer, to explore the profound influence of three-dimension film on its aestheticstyle and aesthetic experience; from the angle of three-dimension filmmakers, toanalyze of the influence of visual aesthetic activities on the producers`thinking, inthe process of transformation of film technology from two-dimension tothree-dimension, to dissect the changes, similarities and differences of aestheticstate. And conduct dialectical analysis on Aesthetic activities of three-dimensionmovies, so as to obtain better understanding.First of all, through document analysis, to clarify the research on the aesthetic status of " three-dimension movie" at home and abroad, specify the achievement,development level and existent problems of current research, as long as brieflyintroduces relevant research in other fields related to this. To put forward the target,declare research contents, and analyze the key problems that should be solved.Secondly, under the wide background of visual culture era, to explain theevolution of visual technology, first of all,briefly introduces two-dimension andthree-dimension technology from the technical level, then analyze how the visualtechnology gain a great leapfrogging during the transition from flat“Two-dimension”to stereoscopic and illusory“Tree-dimension”,as well as newchanges brought by the technological leapfrogging. And to analyze the similaritiesand differences between two-dimension film and three-dimension film aestheticstate.Finally, to unfold dialectical analysis of three-dimension film aesthetic activities.In the three-dimension visual era, visual pictures gain its popularity, althoughthree-dimension movie can bring visual enjoyment and sensory shock to people, butwe should have a more profound understanding about it. The film technology ismaking progress all the way,how to enhance its visual effect without droppingartistic value should be the permanent exploration and pursuing of the makers.
