| This paper analyzes the linguistic characteristics of the diesel locomotive technical documents, which are from the exportation project between Beijing Feb.7th Railway Transportation Equipment Co., Ltd and Estonia. And the linguistic characteristics mainly concern three aspects, the vocabulary, grammar and text. Based on these characteristics, the paper further discusses the standards, principles and strategies for translating these documents.After reviewing the whole process of translating, such as cooperation, process control and editing, etc., this paper introduces the concept of "project management" and elaborates its significance.Besides, the paper also summarizes the difficulties and problems that arose during the whole process of translating. And some suggestions are put forward to solve the problems, which might benefit the MTI students. |
