Analysis Of The Thai Chinese College Entrance Examination Papers Of The Three Countries

As the popularity of Chinese language increases in the world, all countries have Chinese as one of the second language. Thailand has also been the impact of the Chinese boom. Increasing number of learning Chinese in recent years, making Thailand one of the countries with the largest number of global Chinese learners. At the same time, the development of Chinese teaching in Thailand doesn’t catch up with the increased number in learning Chinese, so there are a lot of issues to be studied, such as Chinese college entrance examination of Thailand.According to2011statistics, the number of the people participating in the Thailand’s Chinese college entrance examination is the biggest among all foreign language exams, it reached to13,024people, and this number will increase in the future. This statistics also shows, recently Thai high school students attach great importance to Chinese learning. But no matter in Thailand or China, there are only a few scholars that have conducted a research on Thailand’s Chinese college entrance examinations, the research in this field is very weak but important. Thailand’s Chinese college entrance examination papers have some shortcomings, which will directly affect the investigation of the language skills of the candidates. Therefore, the writer will try to research the Thailand’s Chinese college entrance examination papers, and the researches and analysis of the Thailand’s Chinese college entrance examination papers, to some extent, will promote the development of Chinese teaching in Thailand.This thesis is divided into five chapters, the main methods are Literature reading method, content analysis, comparative analysis (global vision of Comparative Law) and interviews, by using these methods to analyzes the structure of2011Chinese college entrance examination questions, examination paper, including the advantages and disadvantages of the papers of three countries. The analysis of the college entrance examination papers in Japan and South Korea can be used as the reference of the Thai Chinese college entrance examination papers. On this basis, combined with interviews of high school Chinese teachers in Thailand to propose ways and ideas to improve the Thai Chinese college entrance examination papers.
