With the increasingly frequent exchanges with China and the Central Asian countries, more and more people from Uzbekistan want to understand China, and the number of Chinese language learning has increased year by year. With the Chinese language popularity or "hotness" in Uzbekistan more and more colleges and universities have setting up Chinese language majors, and a rapid development of Chinese teaching in institutions of higher learning is in progress, schools setting up Chinese language courses are also increasing. However, there are some problems in the Chinese language teaching. This paper introduces the situation of Chinese language teaching in Uzbekistan (mainly for three of Uzbekistan’s universities and a via a secondary school Chinese teaching position survey), bring to light the problems which exist in the Chinese language teaching in Uzbekistan. In order to solve these problems, the author proposes a number of recommendations. The thesis consists of five parts:(1) significance of the topic and research purposes;(2) Related research summary (major topics of the questionnaire survey for the three universities and the No59secondary school Chinese language teaching historical background);(3) analysis of the significance of the data provided back through the questionnaire;(4) comparison of some of the data from the three universities and proposal of solutions;(5) Conclusion.
