The Quality Of Foreign Language Teachers To Explore

Since the Reform and Opening-up Policy, the career of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language has won a great success. Our government’s and the society’s approval, the hard-working of universities and all kinds of institutions, and the study of the experts and scholars, which made it more popular. And in2007the Master of International Chinese Language Education was established to satisfy the requirement. At the same time, the researches and studies of this career became more and more:some studies were studied from the teachers’aspect; some concerned about the areas and countries, and all of the studies have given the career its new opinions that are still shining today and ever after.However, we still face some problems, especially the problem that the abilities of the teachers that is not so acceptable. The large enrollment of the Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language and Master of International Chinese Language Education enlarged the proportion of low employment, aggravated the contradiction between the surplus in domestic and the shortage aboard of teachers, and result in the unsatisfied abilities of the Chinese teachers. Therefore, in this study I will do the study from the students who majors in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language and Master of International Chinese Language Education, and also the foreign students who are learning Chinese in China, to the conclude:whether our teachers’abilities satisfied the students or not, what’re the differences, what abilities should an excellent mandarin Chinese teacher must have, and for the Chinese Teachers, the decision makers and teaching Chinese as a foreign language training teachers as a reference.
