China has historic links with the Soviet Union in terms of thecultural exchange. In the20thcentury, such exchange reached to theclimax. From the1920s to the1980s, the cultural exchange betweenChina and the Soviet Union has never stopped. In the1950s, influencedby the “thaw literature” in the Soviet Union, a group of outstandingliterary theory and literary works were created in "Double-hundredpolicy" period in China, which played an important role in the history ofour literature. The author selected this topic because many researches hadbeen done respectively about the literary theory of the "thaw period” inthe Soviet Union and "double-hundred policy" in China. But fewresearches studied the relationship between them. Besides, for the modernand contemporary Chinese literature, the literature study in the period of"double-hundred policy" is of special significance. This present studyreviewed the literary theory of the "thaw period” in the Soviet Union byadopting the inductive method. Meantime, the literary theory between the"thaw period” in the Soviet Union and "double-hundred policy" in Chinaas well as the research methods were compared, and the relationshipbetween them was analyzed in the hope of helping learn the1950’sliterature in the Soviet Union. This article mainly introduced the "anti-conflict-free theory,“positive intervention","socialist realism","typicalproblems" and "humanitarian" of the "thaw period” in the Soviet Union aswell as its influence on the literary theory during the period of "double-hundred policy" in China. Besides, the literary works in these two periodswere compared, for example, Du Cai Jin fu’s ’’Not Only for Bread’’ andGeng Jian’s ’’ Climbing on the end of a pole’’ as well as Ni Gu La Ye Wa’s’’ Head of Tractor Station and Chief Agronomist ’’ and Wang Meng’s TheYoung Newcomer to Organization Department. The above study reflectedthat the literary works of the "double-hundred policy" period was underthe influence of the literary theory of the "thaw period” in the SovietUnion.
