"Ancient Xiqing Kam" Research

Xi Qing Gu Jian was finished in Qianlong Period of Qing Dynasty, but was notwidely spread until its reprint in the14th year of Guangxu Period of Qing Dynasty. Ina short span of decades in the Late Qing and Early Republic of China, four editionsemerged； even there was a Japanese edition. And researches on Xi Qing Gu Jian justbegan at the end of this period, which was also the period of intersection of ancientepigraphy and modern archaeology in China. Although many scholars devotedthemselves into this field of study, very few researches was done on this specific book.Except for Rong Geng’s paper, other researches did not go any further. The purpose ofthis paper is to try to make a comprehensive study on this book.
