Human in the process of exploring the world, they like starting from their own experiences with their known familiar concepts to explain the strange unknown, this is one of the reason that the generation of metaphor. The main factor that one world can lead metaphor from their own meanings is the basic meaning and their metaphor has the familiar circumstance. In other words, This familiar circumstance is the attribute significance, Theory of categories of Exist-attribute provides us about the metaphorical logic foundation. With the metaphorical theory and category theory in cognitive linguistics and use concrete examples, this article analyzes mainly the cognitive way the metaphoric logical mechanism. On this basis, we explore the words metaphor’s teaching method, this is the place of innovation of this paper.This article contains four chapters:first, The introduction. Illustrate the research object and significance, related research review, research methods and contents. Based on the<modern Chinese dictionary>(the fifth edition) contains the metaphor in standard. Research these words metaphor and their model.Second, Understanding the metaphorical words. Establish words’ attribute domain and target domain, then use metaphorical theory to explain.Third, The derivative model. To establish words’ category, then with category theory related to contrast the metaphorical knowledge of derivative analysis.Finally, The words’ metaphor and teaching Chinese as a foreign language. This test is targeted at advanced stage, as the basis of design of words’metaphor to the class teaching strategy.
