New Words Teaching Chinese As A Foreign Language Study

Based on the new terms and phrases teaching of the Teaching Chinese as aForeign Language (hereinafter referred to as TCFL) for research object, this paperdiscusses the feasibility of teaching methods. In view of TCFL teaching theory andstudents’ actual needs, we should take the new terms and phrases teaching as aimportant component in TCFL.The new terms and phrases teaching is considered as a significant project for itsimportant effect on TCFL words and phrases teaching level and students’ actual needs.This point of vies is affirmed by the results of analyzing the teaching current situationof new terms and phrases and overseas students’reseach report.We put forward some advices on outline revising,teaching material writing andcourse offering. Firstly we should take more new terms and phrases into outline andteaching process,and increasing the numbers with study phrases. And then we shouldsupplement the word list for directing teaching process in2or3years. Openingselecting course with new terms and phrases for overseas students is so vital.And on that basis, we put forwad some instructional strategies for teachingmaterial writing,teaching contents and teaching metods of new terms and phrases. Weshould pay attention to how to combine theoretical knowledge and skill traing andimprove this unqiue teaching by keeping up with the times.
