Analysis Of Cultural Factors Of Jin’s Bronzes

Tianma-Qucun Village is located between the Yicheng county and Quwo County, including the Jinhou graveyard and other medium-size tombs. At present, more than660tombs of Xizhou Dynasty have been excavated, and the scientists have unearthed more than280pieces of bronze ritual vessels. The site is the center of Xizhou Dynasty, which is important to study Jin’s bronzes. This paper will study the unearthed bronze vessels in both two relics comprehensively, by using The Archaeological Typology, Statistics and Cultural Analysis Factors. This paper is divided into the following sections:The first chapter is introduction. In this section, the author will determine the research object, and review the previous research results. Then, put forward the research significance and innovation of this paper.The second chapter is the research on the object types of Jin’s bronzes. The research is mainly on the two bronze sites, which are Jinhou graveyard and Tianma-Qu Cun site. Using application of the type theory classified fractions, the author will sum up each type’s common decorative pattern, and then judge the Age of bronzes.The third chapter is the decorative art of Jin’s bronzes. This paper will do research on classifying decorations of Jin’s bronzes, and also pay attention to the stereo decoration of them. Then, make a summary and discuss the characteristics of them.The fourth chapter is researching and summarizing the inscriptions of Jin’s bronzes. Studying of shape, content, the author believes that these inscriptions will help to conjecture the owner of Jinhou graveyard. It can reflect the exchanges between countries, and provide clues for the judgment of clan.The fifth chapter is the analysis of cultural factors of Jin’s bronzes. Compared with many other country’s bronzes, the author believes that there are three cultural factors of Jin’s bronzes. They are the cultural factors of Xizhou、cultural factors of shang and the cultural factors of northern China. This paper will analyze each kind of cultural factors in detail.The sixth chapter is the study on the location and combination form of Jin’s bronzes. Researching the classification in different times and different ethnic groups, the paper will analyze the system of Jin’s bronzes.The seventh chapter is the manufacturing process of Jin’s bronzes. The paper will focus on the unearthed bronzes of small and medium-size tombs in Tianma-Qucun Village. Then summarize and analyze the produce process in the report, and evaluate the quality of Jin’s bronzes.
