With the continuous improvement of international status of China, there are more and more overseas students coming to China to learn Chinese and Chinese culture from all countries, among which the proportion of international students from Russia has increased year by year. In teaching practice for Russian international students, we found that they made several mistakes and failures in phonetics, vocabulary, grammar and pragmatics more or less. This paper takes the form of questionnaire and uses the statistical analysis method to deal with the questionnaire data to research and conclude how Russian students of different language levels use the expression "Request", hoping to find the problem and integrate the rule of language, and to put forward corresponding proposals on how to make the foreign language teaching practice for Russia international students implement the linguistic performance of "Request" in the future.This paper generally include the following six aspects of content:1. Introduction, including the meaning of pragmatic failures in practice of teaching Chinese as a foreign language for Russian students, the researching status on Chinese language "Request" pragmatic failure of Russia’s foreign students, research significance and the innovative points of this paper.2. The general principles and classification of the linguistic performance of "Request".3.The basic research ideas and methods of the paper.4. The analysis of types and causes for the pragmatic failures of the linguistic performance of "Request" of Russian students shown in the questionnaire.5. Some suggestions and methods for the Russian overseas students to improve their ability of linguistic performance of "Request"6.Conclusion.
