The Russian Foreign Students Chinese Pragmatic Failure Analysis

In 1983 Thomas did the research of pragmatic failure first.After that the linguists have paid a lot of attention to the issue of cross-culture pragmatic failure.With the development of Teaching Chinese to Foreigners,the pragmatic failure of the Chinese learners who came from other countries gets more and more attentions.The Heilongjiang province,next to Russia,lies on the north area of China.There are a lot of Russian students learning Chinese in Harbin.This research focus on Russian students, trying to find out the actuality,character and countermessure of their pragmatic failure.This thesis looks back the filiation and development of the pragmatic, presents international and domestic pragmatic theory,confirm the research field of this paper as the issue of Chinese pragmatic failure when Russian students do the cross-culture comunication.With the investigation,observation and interview,including the data collection and analyzing,the paper gives the all around appraise of Chinese pragmatic failure of Russian students, analyse the character,causation and affectable factor,discussed what kind of revelation that pragmatic failure of foreigners students brings us and how to take messures to avoid the pragmatic failure.
