As China and South Korea have established diplomatic relations into the first20years, especially at this background of2012South Korea’s New HSK reform, South Korean also set off a wave of "Chinese Learning Heat". Basing on this context, this thesis has been accomplished through the investigation and summary of author’s own teaching experience in South Korea department-SISA Chinese teaching language institute. Being located in Seoul, South Korea, SISA Chinese teaching language institute is one of the main private teaching institute on Chinese language teaching, book publishing, exam training, studying abroad. This institute’s Chinese language teaching represents the highest standards of Seoul both in scale and level.According to the thoughts of identifying problems, asking questions and solving problems, the paper is divided into five parts, which is mainly based on author’s Chinese teaching practice experience in SISA Chinese teaching language institute.First is an introduction part, which briefly introduced background, purpose and significance, methods of the research.Chapter1mainly focuses on the status of the Korea language Institute of SISA Chinese teaching through analyzing six aspects, such as the class organization, teaching materials, as well as the work condition of Chinese teachers.Chapter2mainly discusses on the widespread four major problems and shortcomings that exist in SISA Chinese teaching language institute. It is the problems like Chinese academic status, class teaching methods, Chinese language teachers’ teaching abilities and Chinese teaching materials. And also analyzes its causes.Chapter3mainly puts forward four major proposals and measures on current problems. Such as to determine Chinese subject status, improve class teaching methods, raise the level of Chinese language teachers, improve the shortcomings of Chinese teaching materials.Last is a conclusion part, which summarizes the author’s expectation to this paper and the limitations of this research and writing.This thesis aims at providing a new reference for teaching Chinese as a second language in overseas countries, especially in South Korea.
