Since the establishment of diplomatic ties of China and South Korea, with the development of Chinese economy, the relationship between the two countries has been closer every day. And the Sino-Korean relationship is closer especially after Xi Jinping and Park Guenhye made mutual visits to each other’s countries. In recent years, South Korea has witnessed learners of Chinese springing up dramatically. Men and women, old and young, are all interested in China and Chinese, the study purpose is different among people though. With the "Chinese hot" in South Korea, Chinese education institutions are widely opened up, however, Learners are not quite satisfied with their Chinese learning results.This article about Chinese language course in university is based on the author’s own experience. The author takes ChongNam National university of South Korea as an example, where he has spent his four undergraduate years. There are three types of Chinese language courses in ChongNan National university; Chinese language course, Chinese type’s breeding class (the following breeding class called "general elective course"), the Confucius institute Chinese tutorial class. The Chinese language course is not only opened to students in ChongNan National university, but also the whole society. This article aims to find the ideal teaching ways of Chinese through the comparative analysis of these three kinds of courses. Analyzing methods include: questionnaire survey, interview, classroom observation, literature research, case analysis, etc. I hope this article provides reference for South Korea universities’Chinese teaching.The content of this article is divided into the following six chapters.The first chapter, introduction. This chapter introduces the research background and the significance of the selected topic.The second chapter, the research and analysis of the three Chinese language courses’teaching modes. First is to define the meaning of three types of curriculum; Second is to investigate the teaching basic situation of each course; Third is classroom observation and analysis.The third chapter, analysis of learners’ needs and satisfaction of three Chinese language courses. This chapter mainly introduces learners’satisfaction and demand of courses design, teaching methods and teaching materials based on questionnaire.The fourth chapter, thinking and suggestions concerned "classified guidance" on the South Korean university delivering Chinese courses. This chapter focuses on the exploration of extended and core classes, as well as the digging of the professional and non-professional learning teaching modes.Finally, the concluding part. The author summarizes the research results of this article. This chapter introduces the author’s thinking and opinion on the exports of university Chinese language courses. |
