In the film, the characters and scenery are made by porcelain material, they are porcelain sculptures. The shooting includes two different methods, cinematography and freeze-frame shooting (stop motion). The lighting is specially designed for porcelain material, experimentally interact "film lighting" with "porcelain lighting"(porcelain material has special light effect in film), trying to use light and shadow to tell a classical ghost story and to show a ghostly, shining porcelain world. The thesis is based on practice, discusses how to creatively achieve the "Porcelain Vision " in the film by special shooting and lighting method. The "Porcelain Vision " is the most important concept to discuss in the thesis, as a visual language, it not only effectively expresses the special beauty of the Ghost stories, but also accurately conveys the character of porcelain.
