In Japan,we can find the limited merchandises here and there.Though,there are few researches about this phenomenon.According to those limited prior studies, this article mainly tried to solve the follow three questions:what the limited merchandises means; why they appear in our life and how they can get a good developing in Japan.So in this article, you can find the introduction about the classification of the limited merchandises in Japan, the theories which associated with the origin of the limited merchandises and the three reasons why the limited merchandises becoming popular in Japan, which are the local self-producing model, the finish machining and the local conditions of Japan. During the analysis, the author put forward the concept of ’the limited consciousnesses’.After the analysis and inference, we can come to the conclusion that the limited merchandises exist in many places around the world and of course they are not unique in Japan. But they achieved outstanding success in Japan benefiting the long-standing and highly developed production mode, and the special local conditions in Japan.
