Junior youth in a critical period of growth and development in a vast resevoir of energy in their bodies, and the presence of emotional instability, irritability, restlessness, self-doubt, mistrust and so on, causing them severe psychological distress affect their physical and mental health, therefore, mental health education caused widespread concern at this stage of the parents, students and the community. Currently mental health in the form of education content and structure are some limitations, suffering from the impact of exam-oriented education is also difficult to implement. This study is based mindfulness training adapted into a short attention training exercises, exploring its impact on the psychological quality of junior high school students.In this study, the experimental group, pretest-posttest control group design, select the first grade in a middle school in Beijing a total of192students in six classes as subjects. Randomization approach to the use of class as a unit will be divided into experimental group (62people), in the control group (65) and control group (65people), its (?)en-week intervention, explore short attention training operation for junior high mental toughness, positive and negative emotions, mental health effects. Seen from the results, level of mindfulness with mental toughness, positive and negative emotions, mental health into a significant positive correlation with negative emotion into a significant negative correlation. By ten weeks of the intervention, the experimental group were tested in the study stress in mental health (p=0.012), mental toughness level of the target focus (p=0.013), the level of mental toughness positive perception (p=0.002) to be significantly better than the control group on the dimension; to be significantly better than the control group on the blank control group were tested in the mental toughness of the target focus (p=0.012) dimensions. Conclusion instructions, mindfulness levels and students’ mental health, negative emotions, there is an association between mental toughness; short attention training operation for junior high school students study pressure, target focused. positive impact on cognitive aspects are significant and effective.
