High school is the period that the students have the most heavy learning tasks, but also the self-identity is established. At this stage, we should not only pay attention to the minority students with psychological disorder, but also study and understand adaptive orientated mental health status of all students. Since current research on the aspect is very few, this study makes a further discussion. according to the existing research, two variables that the life events and resilience are introduced. In this paper the life events, resilience, adaptive orientated mental health and their relationship are discussed, which can provide a certain basis and reference for psychological health education work of high school students.This research selected 723 subjects of two high school in Nanchong City as the research object, and adopt the adolescent life events scale, the youth mental resilience scale, middle school student mental health scale to investigate the basic orientation of life events and resilience and adaptive orientated mental health of high school students. In addition, the study carried on the correlation analysis and regression analysis. The specific research results are as follows:1. High school students as a whole experienced relatively few life events; Life events scores in gender, family, homeplace, parents cultural degree has no significant differences; only-child or not and grade are significant different. The overall resilience of high school students is in the upper level. Resilience score is not significant in gender, only-child or not, parents cultural degree; There are significant differences in homeplace and grade. Adaptive orientated mental health of high school students is in general at a medium level. Adaptive orientated mental health in gender, the homeplace and grades is significant difference; Only-child or not and parents culture degree have no significant differences.2. The life events and resilience exist significant negative correlation; There are significant negative correlation in life events and adaptive orientated mental health; Resilience and adaptive orientated mental health have significant positively related.3. The life events and resilience do a prediction function for adaptive orientated mental health.
