Objective: The current education only focus on knowledge, and forget the wisdom of the ancients. What we need is spiritual growth, not knowledge. "Mindfulness" as a ancient spiritual growth method have been widely carried out in foreign countries, but there are few domestic research and application. Researchers seek to explore the feasibility and the influence of mindfulness-based course for elementary and secondary school.Method: In this study, the object are students from a junior high school in Zhengzhou. Two natural classes were selected as experimental and control groups. Experimental group attend 40-minute mindfulness courses weekly for eight weeks, the control group were not treated. The measure tool are Mindful Attention Awareness Scale, The Resilience Scale for Adolescent, Test Anxiety Scale, Chinese Mental Health Scale, before and after the courses were rating scale. Data were statistically analyzed by SPSS21.0. After the end of the course, researcher do the qualitative analysis to theResults: Before participating in mindfulness courses, two groups of subjects did not differ significantly at all levels. T test results showed that after mindfulness courses, Mindful Attention Awareness Scale{T = 2.718, p <0.05}, The Resilience Scale for Adolescent {T = 2.007, p <0.05}, Test Anxiety Scale{T =-2.731, p <0.05}, Chinese Mental Health Scale emotional control dimension {T = 2.664, p <0.05}; depression {T =-2.704, p <0.05} and anxiety dimension {T =-2.668, p <0.05}. The result indicating that students who attend courses were significantly higher than those who did not participate in the course at the level of mindfulness and mental health, and less anxiety, depression and significantly lower test anxiety those who did not participate in the course.Conclusion: Quantitative analysis showed that mindfulness-based curriculum to enhance the level of mindfulness junior high school students, reducing test anxiety, promoted to junior high school students emotional management ability, depression and anxiety also improved. Qualitative analysis showed that junior high school course welcome, and brought such pressure reduction, concentration, enhance change. Comprehensive analysis to mindfulness-based curriculum into daily teaching junior secondary current is feasible.
