The cultural identity is value-recognition and life-sentiment which constructed on traditionalculture, is a spiritual bond which agglomerate national community. Cultural identity is also areaction when individuals or groups face different cultures,which occurs in the contact, collisionand compared with different cultures. Thus, cultural identity is a dynamic process of change, andchanges with social development.As an integrated artistic expression, Folk Music and Dance plays an important role incultural’s identity and distinguish, which is a prominent content in the cultural-value-system, whohas almost permeated into every aspect of social life in Yunnan minorities.Munaozongge is from grand ritual of Jingpo, which has become the most important nationalholiday, it is a way to interpret artistic performances and heritage of Jingpo profound culturalconnotation. It interprets and inherits cultural connotation of Jingpo by the way of artisticperformances. However, cultural heritage is a social behavior, which must be based on recognitionof the cultural heritage. No recognition, no enthusiasm of inheritance. Therefore, study of culturalidentity should be placed before the Cultural Studies. In this paper, according to this research ideas,through the analysis of representative cases, We defined the relationship the folk music and danceand cultural-identity firstly, and then explain the effect；and finally，we presents a theoreticalperspective of Education Heritage of folk music and dance.This thesis consists of an introduction, four chapters and the conclusion.The Introduction, summary of the research value of the paper, the study area, the existingliterature and the overall design of the paper; The first chapter, focuses on the relationship betweenfolk music and dance and cultural identity; The second chapter, Cultural Ecology, History andEvolution of Munaozongge are Scanned, the role of Munaozongge in Jingpo cultural value systemis re-located; The third chapter, from the research perspective of t "depth description ", focusingon four aspects to explain the role of Munaozongge in Jingpo cultural identity;The fourthchapter,proposes personal opinion for "Munaozongge" heritage in the modern education system.The conclusion is a summary of the full text.
