Hermit Study Drama In The Yuan Dynasty

For a long time, the study of drama of Yuan Dynasty is too many, but the study regionof reclusive dramas is not so popular like the study of Yuan dramas, which isfascinating so many academics’ attentions. The research of reclusive dramas’noumenon is left without anybody to care for them in addition of the absence ofmaterials. This paper integrated all the researches and some books before, anddefined the statement of literature, which are relating of retiring from official life andexpressing the longing for nature, as reclusive drama. It is all about the fundamentalconcept and textual work of reclusive drama. And then, this chapter textual on somerepresentative works in their spiritual arts and cultural trace.The paper reflect the spiritual of the reclusive drama, it is containing four kinds ofreclusive thoughts. Then the second chapter discusses the causes of the reclusivedrama’s production and development. The third reason, novel but overwhelminglystrong, has breaking the limitations which are based on the researches of democraticpolicies and imperial policies. The third reason is about the religion’s influence. Andthen, the spiritual traits of the reclusive drama are concluded. The third chapterdescribes the trace of the reclusive culture. The first stage is the Spring and AutumnWarring state period, the second stage is the Wei Jin Northern and Southern Dynasties,the third stage is the Tang and Song Dynasties. Later, this paper analyses the impacts,which the reclusive drama affects the other types of Yuan literature, especially theanalysis of the Yuan poetry and Yuan song poetry.Overall, the study of Yuan reclusive drama, refines the process and the rules ofreclusive literature, broadens the classification of the searching of Yuan drama, andimprove the links of the types of Yuan literary. This paper provide a reference andidea for the searching of the reclusive literature.
