Popper Anti-historical Determinism Inherent Criticism

Karl Popper’s “anti-historical determination”， the most controversial anddifficult issue in modern contemporary philosophy， directly destroys the foundationof Marx’s historical materialism， as he illustrated in “The Poverty of Historicism”and “The Open Society and Its Enemies”. The paper analyses Popper’s internal logicthat using the points that social history is Irregular， non-repetitive and indeterminismand the methodology of anti-holism to deny the historical materialism， and thenpoint out the origin of Popper’s theoretical shortcomings. The strong criticismresponds Popper’s challenges and digs the thoughts of the founder.
