The Choice Of Endowment Mode Under The Background Of Population Aging In City Of Zhangzhou

With the rapid development of economy, aging problem ofZhangzhou’s population has been increasingly prominent. Zhangzhou hasbeen carrying out the policy of Family Planning since the1980’s. Thefertility rate has declined obviously after over30years. Since the5thNPC (National Population Census), Zhangzhou had entered the agingsociety, and the result of6th NPC showed the population aging wasbecoming faster. At present, Zhangzhou’s aging population scale hasbecome the highest in Fujian Province. How to provide for the aged isbecoming the prior problem for the residents of Zhangzhou.This paper applies the related theories of Social Security Science,Sociology, Public Administration to rearch on the current four popularpension modes under the background of population aging in our country.The methods of Comparative analysis,Demonstration Analysis,Documentation Analysis are adopted to study on the current situation ofZhangzhou’s endowment modes, whether from reality of zhangzhou’sdevelopment, or regarding to residents’ endowment concept, familyendowment would be the main mode of Zhangzhou residents. Besides,after introducing the main modes of family endowment at home anddeveloped countries abroad, also reflecting on the current situation ofZhangzhou’s, this paper dissects the existing problems of Zhangzhou’sfamily endowment service system: shortage of funds and limited servicecontents, lack of professional training and without standard of servicequality. In the end, it brings forward the reflection and proposals on howto complete the service system of family endowment to deal with thoseproblems.By means of Comparative Analysis, a horizontal comparison is madeon existing pension modes of Zhangzhou, family endowment wouldbecome the future mainstream is pointed out. In addition, based onZhangzhou’s issued policies of family endowment, more specificproposals are made on service content and measures of providing for the aged, hope to provide some helpful examples and inspirations for thedevelopment of Zhangzhou’s family endowment.
