In China, in the socialist modernization construction and in the international environmentof economic globalization, and the arrival of the information age has brought opportunitiesand challenges for the domestic reform and opening up the process of deepening and buildinga moderately prosperous society. In order to solve the problems and the challenges in thesocialist modernization construction in China, we must strengthen and improve ideologicaland political education work. Making a study on the contents of the ideological and politicaland the problems of the implementation route is the basic problem of ideological and politicaleducation and is the key to improve the efficiency of ideological and political education.Countries around the world have common ideological and political education, butdifferent countries have different titles. The United States also engaged in ideological andpolitical education, but different political system and social culture in China and the UnitedStates have lead to different ideological and political education in the both countries. Contentand implementation of the path of their ideological and political education have their owncharacteristics, so its have the value to research. In this thesis, a comprehensive analysis ofideological and political education in China and the United States, comparative study of theway through the classification for ideological and political education, mainly from the contentand path Comparative Study on ideological and political education content analysis of thedetailed and specific thorough and meticulous implementation of the path of ideological andpolitical education in China and the United States, through a comparative analysis, drawingon the advantages of the ideological and political education, to make up for the deficiencies ofChinese ideological and political education, thereby improving the efficiency of China’sideological and political education, which in theory and reality aspects have importantsignificance. In this paper the main body is divided into four parts. The first part is the historyof the development of the ideological and political education, which mainly describes thecourse to explore the ideological and political education in China, the history of ideologicaland political education in Chinese and the evolution of the ideological and political educationin the United States, and then introduced the importance of comparative ideological andpolitical education. The second part mainly analyzes the contents of ideological and politicaleducation in China and the United States, and draws similarities and differences in ideologicaland political education content in China and the United States.The third part mainly discusses the implementation propagation path of ideological andpolitical education in the both countries, and then analyzes the differences and similarities of political education path ideological and political education in the both countries.The fourth part is to evaluate the content and implementation of the path in ideologicaland political education in the both countries, and then strengthens and improves ourideological and political education work to get some inspiration.The study characteristics of this paper is that the content and implementation of the pathof the ideological and political education had been a deeper comparison and analysis betweenChina and the United States, and realizes shortage of ideological and political education inour country and understands the advantage of ideological and political education in the UnitedStates, and then draws nutrients and learns useful practical experience from the situation anddevelopment trend of ideological and political education in the United States. In the end, tostrengthen and improve our ideological and political education, training good quality talentfor our country and society.
