Ce-lun is the most important style of Imperial Examinations. As an open and fair selective test for talented people, Imperial Examinations’ contribution is closely related to Ce-lun. The main way that Ce-lun test the competence of the person refers to the Confucian classics argumentation and some political affairs in order to examine their ideas for those questions. And also, this kind of style is similar to the argumentative writing in current college entrance examination, for instance, the strategy and some constructive words in argumentation is equally important in Ce-lun. After the several refdrms of Imperial Examinations, Ce-lun remains to be a compulsory subject that can mostly reflect the competence of the person, not only for its pragmatic effect, but the most importantly is that it can reveal if the person care about the current social problems and can put forward some ideas for managing the nation.As we all know that, Yuan Dynasty was the first imperial nation that Mongolian nationality built, and became one of the the most vast and powerful nations in history. Based on the previous style of examinations, Yuan Dynasty made_some adjustments and revisions according to the benefit of its ruling class and social problems, even to the national relation, therefore, it differ from any other dynasties’characteristic. So how the Ce-lun changes and what the characteristic is as the third part of the main questions in Yuan Imperial Examination. As a result, the paper will define the Imperial Examination and the Ce-lun, and also the writer will use some references to describe the method of Ce-lun, then make a conclusion for the standard of the questions combined with the original materials related with the Ce-questions. At last, the writer will give remarks for the Yuan Ce-lun test on the whole. The writer hope the study can have a good knowledge of the Ce-lun test and the education in Yuan Dynasty, and also hope more study and research can be done in this field. Meantime, the writer hope this Ce-lun can give lesson for further study.The paper mainly apply the method of document, history and comparison, and refers to the parts of the contents related to the Ce-lun questions in the book the Contents Classify Index of Yuan Collected Works (Index) written by Lu Junling, and the writer also consult "The Si Ku Quan Shu", the Serials of the Yuan Collected Works,etc. The writer tries to get real and reliable original materials, and then consult the related books and papers again, and finally combined with some description before the Yuan and after the Yuan so that these information can fully prepare and make the study.The writer deeply analyzes the collected materials and also put the Yuan Ce-lun into two parts—the method of reading and writing, then makes discussion from two sides; and the writer use some concrete examples to display the style, the way of making questions, the conception, the structure and the format of the Ce-lun standard; Finally, the writer analyze the position and the influence of the Ce-lun and make conclusions for it. It reveals that Ce-lun can wrongly judge the real useful person and do harm to the educational circles. What’s more, as a special style of examination, Ce-lun can lead to some person’s bad learning habit, to some extent. Jin-ce and Dui-ce also can lead to the competition between the groups, and the examiner’s strategies also represent the opinions of the class and some groups. Since Ce-lun can be as an official style of selecting talented person, it must also have effect on other article styles.
