Research On Legal Problems Of Affordable Housing

With the acceleration of urbanization, the increase of farmer workers in cities and the reconstruction of old city areas in China, the problem of residence shortage gradually emerges along with constantly sharp increase of housing price. In such context,"the right of habitation" becomes a hot issue relating to people’s livelihood. To achieving the goal that "every resident has a residence" is an urgent task for a country with sound and consummated systems, whereas indemnificatory housing is a necessary measure for a country to build and improve the social security system and alleviate social conflicts. Based on the actuality in Chinese society, this paper by stating the indemnificatory housing system in our country, analyzed the defects and shortcomings of indemnificatory housing system. The indemnificatory housing system in developed country also provided some good experience in institutions. Moreover, our country should make improvement of legislation and systems from the perspectives of legislation, government duty, provident fund system, examination of sound indemnificatory housing and legal duties in order to form a comprehensive and consummated a indemnificatory housing system.
