Political Relations Zhuang Village

Generally speaking, as a certain political entity, a nationality is always linked with other political entity like country, party or another nationality. Accordingly, different types of national political relationships take shape, no matter in the process of building their own political system or carrying out their political actions. It is the same at a microcosmic level.In the village community of Zhuang nationality, there still exists a political entity based on the village community of Zhuang nationality which carries out activities with another political entity around communal power of the village community, and all kinds of political relationships in the village community come into being consequently. The political relationship of Zhuang nationality is not only an important part in their political lives, but also a fundamental framework of their political lives of village community. Also it has a great influence on the political life of the village community. All kinds of political structures, political processes and political actions in the village community of Zhuang nationality, are manifestations of political relationships of the village community of Zhuang nationality.The political relationships of the village community of Zhuang nationality are in a continuous process of changing and developing. Before the permeation of national power into the village community of Zhuang nationality, traditional political relationships of Zhuang nationality played an important role, especially the political relationships in the rural areas of the village community of Zhuang nationality which is characterized with original democracy in the system of elder village patriarch; it has a significant influence on the development of the village community of Zhuang nationality. After the founding of new China, especially after the implementation of village autonomy, national power is devolved to the village community of Zhuang nationality, the traditional political relationships of the village community of Zhuang nationality has changed, the political authority based on culture was replaced by another political authority based on national political power. However, influenced by traditional culture customs, traditional political authority has a special effect that can not be replaced by governing authority; which constitutes the multiple interactions between governing authority and non-governing authority and forms complicate political relationships of village community. At the same time, this kind of political relationship also has a great effect on political life of village community. Indeed, frictions, contradictions or even conflicts are hard to avoid in places of these relationships. Now the main stream of political relationships in the village community of Zhuang nationality is harmonious, but there are still some unharmonious aspects, especially about relationship of interest. Therefore, it is of significant importance to coordinate interests of different political entities and establish harmonious political relationships in the village community of Zhuang nationality.This paper falls into5parts. The first part is introduction, which tells the reason and significance of the research, as well as related research review and research methods at home and abroad. The second paragraph is mainly about changes of political relationships of the village community of Zhuang nationality; this part expounds the political relationships in the system of elder village patriarch and chieftain system, and changes of national power and political relationships. In the3rd part, this paper describes and analyzes the present situation of Zhuang nationality politics, that’s, typical7relationships existing in the village community of Zhuang nationality):the villager and the country, the villager and the government, the villager and the "2village committees", the villager and the religion, the villager and the clan, the villager and the village patriarch, the villager and the national elite. Also, the paper summarized the features of the political relationships of the village community of Zhuang nationality. The4th part sets forth in the influence that present political relationships of Zhuang village community have on village governance. Finally, this paper attempts to put forward suggestions and solutions of establishing harmonious political relationships of the village community of Zhuang nationality.
