As a master of " neo-Confucianism" in Song and Ming Dynasty, through the richeducation practical activities, Zhu Xi has formed a set of unique moral educationthought system on the basis of his complete and systematic neo-Confucianism. ZhuXi also was a great philosopher, ideologist and educator in Confucianismdevelopment period who serve as a link between past and future. To systematicallycard and analysis the moral education thoughts of the neo-Confucianism master, toexplore the role of his moral education in individual moral cultivation process and tomine its success in moral education, and to absorb and draw lessons from thebeneficial ingredients is a valuable research work to build a moral education systemwith Chinese characteristics, and so as to strengthen and improve college ideologicaland political education. This thesis around the specific background that Zhu xi’sethical education thought formed, comprehensively combs the Zhu xi’s ethicaleducation thought system, summarizes the basic characteristics of Zhu’s moraleducation thought, and refines the essence of moral education so as to summarize themodern value of the moral education ideas in improving and innovating the currentideological and political education. The full text is divided into four parts:The first part mainly introduces the specific background that Zhu xi’s ethicaleducation thought formed. This paper argues that particular social background is thefoundation of cultural thoughts, Zhu xi’s ethical education thought’s formation isclosely related to the specific social reality in southern song dynasty. From theeconomic, political, cultural, and the college education activities that Zhu xi works on,this paper explains the basis of reality that Zhu xi’s moral education thought formedon.The second part is a detail carding of the theory system of Zhu xi’s moraleducation thought. This section from the perspective of the philosophy and theory ofhuman nature, analysis the theory foundation that Zhu xi’s ethical education thoughtformed. In accordance with the different degrees, put the moral education goal of Zhuxi into "Ming ethics"-the basic target and the overall goal of the "sage". According toZhu xi’s ethical education "points" of ideas, determines the different stages"elementary school" and "university" of moral education content. Summing up the basic principles of following step by step, leading and shield play the equalimportance, the combination of knowing and doing that followed in Zhu xi’s ethicaleducation.The third part mainly summarizes the basic characteristics of Zhu’s moraleducation thought. Mainly includes: showing one’s high ideas as the goal of moraleducation, inspiring the student; Cognition as the starting point of moral education,advocating practice and practice; Course as the carrier of moral education,implementing the "stratification teaching"; objectivity as the standard of moraleducation, strengthen the evaluation mechanism; environmental education as thesupplement of moral education, optimizing educational environment.The fourth part makes a brief evaluation on thought, reviewing Zhu xi’s moraleducation thought, eliminating dregs, taking its essence. Improve the ideological andpolitical education of colleges by taking the great aspects in Zhu xi’s moral education,such as the objective, pertinence, gradation and continuity about moral education, aswell as the attention to environment.
