Prison is an organ of the state for executing criminal punishments, and prison police, as the executor of the punishment, face special people-criminals, specific work environment, special tasks-education and reform of prisoners, so they are in the dangerous environment, moreover, they have a narrow social circle and boring life, then if they don’t have good health and the correct way to cope with the situation, it is easy for them to get mental health problems, which will not only affect the prison police’s physical health, passion and law enforcement, but also the work of team’s construction. This text aims to make an deep investigation of prison police’s mental health, master their mental health state, and explore some coping and supportive service for their mental health, which is with important practical value.This text tries to make an investigation of prison police’s mental health status based on a prison of Chongqing, explore the people’s police mental health standards based on the psychological standard, police psychological standard, prison police psychological standard researched by the predecessors, analyse the main performance of the psychological problems and causes, and put forward the strategies and measures on the construction of prison people’s police mental health, so as to promote the mental health of the people’s police, strengthen the construction of prison police force and improve the standards of their mental health and quality.The innovation of this text is based on the special team and takes the prison police mental health problems as the research object. The author made a summary about the meaning and standard of mental health based on the research of home and abroad, analysed the prison police’s mental problems and the main cause, and put forward some practical strategies to prevent and solve the prison police’s mental problems which encountered in the work.
