| This thesis is based on the theory of The Core Values of the PLA Today which was advanced by the former president Hu Jintao in2008, this theory consists of5core values, namely "Loyalty to the Party, Love for the People, Service to the Country, Devotion to the Duty, Pride in Winning Honor". Among them,"Pride in Winning Honor" is one of the most significant. Cultivating the sense of pursuing honor could enhance the will of devoting to the country and the sense of responsibility in PLA.The sense of honor among officers and men in the defense technology troops is the embodiment of CPC and PLA’s sense of value, which is guided by Marxism-Leninism. Mao Zedong Thought and the socialist theoretical system with Chinese characteristics, namely the theoretical basis of CPC. Applying the basic principles and ideological and political education principles of Marxism-Leninism, this thesis provides the theoretical basis of correctly understanding the rules of generating sense of honor and locating the status and effect of works on cultivating sense of honor, thus making a useful reference for the works of cultivating sense of honor in defense technology troops.By comparing the sense of honor in defense technology troops with other troops, this thesis tries to explore the special requirement and characteristics of cultivating sense of honor in defense technology troops. The author conducted a survey on the issues of cultivating sense of honor in defense technology troops. Beginning with the issues of "effect of ideological and political education on cultivating sense of honor in army" and "effect of military culture on cultivating sense of honor in army", and combining with practical issues, this thesis analyses the status quo of sense of honor in defense technology troops from the aspects of effect and problems on cultivation. Finally, this thesis proposes some measures to tackle the problems of cultivating sense of honor in defense technology troops in practical situation. |
